After an AirBnb fiasco we found the Baja B&B. A beautiful place on a trendy street in town. The rooms opened into a courtyard with an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, and lounge area. A perfect place chill for a few days.
The first evening we walked down to the market for snack while watching the Olympics. A life sized fiberglass cow was mounted above the entrance. He was wearing cupid wings and an arrow with hearts dangling from his neck for Valentine's Day.
A street vendor was on the corner making hotdogs, burgers, and burritos. After watching him make a burger for a gentleman, we both agreed to order one. Piled high with toppings and smashed as flat as possible. Yum! I thought I ordered a burger, but after a 10 minute wait, he handed me a burrito. Apparently my Spanish needs work. We ate in the courtyard licking our fingers as the sloppy burrito juice trickled down our hands. The best burrito I have ever had. You can't go wrong with the street food here.
The next few days were lazy. Walking the streets, catching the farmers market, and relaxing
