April 18th - 1:30AM I'm sick and tired of not getting any sleep because of another hiker snoring! His name is Night Walker why he isn't hiking on a nice full moon night, I will never know. He decided not sleep in his tent because of the nice evening and we all paid for it. After trying earplugs I yelled his name and threw a rock at him. He rolled over for a while, but the snoring started back a few hours later. You come out here to find peace of mind, and a lack of sleep wrecks the next day. After a nice 8 miles hike, Joyce was waiting for us on a gravel road outside of Greeneville, TN. She picked us up took us to a great meat and three, then treated us to a steak dinner. With bellies full, we head to bed for a good nights sleep. A hard hike is in our future for tomorrow.

You rarely find peace and quiet in a shelter. We always slept in our tents well away from the shelter if that was possible! Hang in there!!! We've been praying for your safety! DZ
